What is an Irrigation Timer?

Simply put, Irrigation Timers control the watering days, intervals, order of watering, as well as the duration. It can be helpful to think of the timers as the brains of an irrigation system.

Some of the most exciting developments in irrigation are to do with the timers and their advancing ability to schedule and perform precise tasks to suit the needs of irrigation systems. These improvements have to do with the ability for a system to be remotely accessed, the system being able to make changes to the schedule itself based on the weather forecast, and seasonal adjustments. At Torch we are always looking for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and functionality, so we get excited to see new technologies in timers hit the market.
